Johnston

The town of Johnston is obviously better known for the Central Landfill for over 40 years and has gained quite the reputation surrounding it however the town’s growth and new housing starts continuously flourish. The real estate market has been very robust in Johnston. Some other notables are the Brown Elementary school which has at one point been rated the number 1 school in the country. Citizens Bank moved its headquarters to Johnston with a 285 million dollar state of the art facility that also has public access to parks. Amazon is building a 3 million square foot distribution center in Johnston as well. Let’s not forget the great restaurants, cafe’s, deli’s and more, along with an endless supply of bix box stores mixed in with small businesses.
